A4S 310R Transmission Replacement

MODELS:
325iA (E36), 525iA (E34)

Situation:
An increasing number of A4S 310R (THM-R1) transmissions are being returned without any technical fault.

Action:
In addition to the information given in S.I. 24 04 91 (3240) on automatic transmission diagnosis, the following hints are based on field investigations of transmission complaints involving A4S 310R equipped vehicles.
