SUBJECT: Modified Alignment Specifications

MODELS: E36


Situation:
The rear axle specifications have been changed on the E36. This change took effect in production in September 1991.

Note: The specifications are given in decimal degrees, with the equivalent degrees and minutes in parentheses.

Rear ride height 518 mm
Total toe .401 +/- .1 (24' +/- 6')
Camber -1.667 +/- .25 (-1~ 40' +/- 15')

The rear toe setting of E36s produced prior to 9/91 may be adjusted to the above specification, but the ride height and camber settings may not be changed.
