Brake Light Switch: Service and Repair

1. Remove trim panel from lower left side.
2. Pull off electrical connections to switch.
3. On 735, 750 & 850 models, depress brake pedal, then pull plunger and sleeve completely forward. Press in retainers and pull back switch.
4. On models except 735, 750 & 850, loosen locknut and unscrew switch.
5. On all models, tighten switch and lock, until a 0.197-0.236 inches (5-6mm) of black contact button is visible.
6. Install connectors and trim panel.
