Coolant Temperature Sensor

TEST PROCEDURE:

Status Monitoring:
The indicated engine temperature should correspond to the coolant temperature. A value below -86°F (-30C) indicates a break in the temperature sensor or in the wire to the Digital Motor Electronic (DME) control unit.

Resistance Test:
Connect universal adapter to engine wire harness and measure resistance. Refer to Coolant Temperature Sensor.
