Idle/Part Load/Full Load Signal
Idle/Part Load/Full Load Signal:Check function:
•D•2 -The signals are formed by the DME control unit on the basis of the throttle potentiometer voltage. The full load signal is sent shortly before the full load limit stop.
Idle setting not detected:
- Check visually that the throttle valve really does close completely,
- Check visually that the operating cable assembly is not set too short,
- Check throttle potentiometer,
- Check wires,
- Disconnect battery for at least 1 minute. The idle selling should then be detected. The control unit is defective if the idle setting is not detected even after a longer interruption in the control unit voltage supply and when no defect has been found after performing the above tests.
Full load setting not detected:
- Check visually that the throttle valve really opens completely,
- Check visually that the operating cable assembly Is not set too long,
- Check throttle potentiometer.
