Front Door Striker: Service and Repair

REPLACING LEFT OR RIGHT FRONT DOOR STRIKER




If applicable, mark installed position.

Unscrew bolts.

Four Door Model:
If applicable, remove B pillar trim.

Two Door Model:
If applicable, remove side trim panel.




Installation:

Tighten striker bolts lightly in middle position.

Close door with opened door handle.

This aligns the striker.




Tighten striker bolts.

Close door.

Check, correcting if necssary.

Edge of front door must be in same plane with rear door or side panel.
