Air Flow Meter (LMM):

Check air flow meter signal:

Check air flow meter signal Up/Uv with •D•2 Status monitoring ( Up = potentiometer voltage, Uv = supply voltage 5 V).

When idling. the voltage value should be 0.2...0.3, increasing up to 0.9 V at full load. A value of 0.02 is indicated if the voltage supply or the signal line is interrupted.

Check voltage supply:

At ignition ON, the air flow meter is supplied with a voltage of 5 V by the DME control unit Pin 59 (+) and Pin 14 (-). See schematic for air flow meter wiring diagram.
