Ignition Cable: Description and Operation

The ignition leads consist a braided steel wire conductor covered with a thick high resistance silicone insulation.

Spark Plug Wire Location:

At the coil side of the lead is an angled connector which contains a 1K ohm suppression resistor. At the spark plug end of the lead is another connector which contains a 5K ohm suppression resistor.
Ignition leads should always be installed using the proper retainers and routing.
