Marking of Rear Window by Linkage Cover

MODELS:
E30 Convertible with EM Top

Situation:
Some customers may complain of a marking or impression in the right side of the soft top rear window caused by the window contacting the metal linkage cover when the top is in the stowed position.

A new plastic cover with a modified contour has been developed to alleviate this problem.

Correction:
In case of complaint, replace the original metal cover with the new plastic cover as per the parts list. Tighten bolts to 10 N-m and secure nuts with Loctite.
