Code 54 (DME Power Supply)

CONTROL UNIT SUPPLY VIA MAIN RELAY
Explanation
This trouble code is stored if a break occurs in the supply voltage after start or when the voltage value is outside the permissible range between 10 V and 14 V.

NOTE: If a break occurs, the supply is provided internally in the control unit via terminal 30.

Troubleshooting
- If the voltage was outside the set range, check the alternator, voltage regulator and the battery.
- Proceed with displayed scan tool diagnostic instructions where applicable.
