"Understanding AEGS" Troubleshooting Book

BMW of North America is proud to announce the release of the new AEGS transmission troubleshooting publication, "Understanding AEGS".

As the title suggests, the primary intent of the new book is to provide the BMW Service technician with an expanded understanding of the theory and operation of the AEGS electronic hydraulic transmission system.

"Understanding AEGS" guides the BMW technician through systematic and sensible troubleshooting steps and procedures. Special tools, functions and the nature of all AEGS signals are clearly illustrated to assure efficient troubleshooting and eliminate guesswork.

All BMW technicians are encouraged to review this new publication and become familiar with the many advantages of "Understanding AEGS".

Initially one copy will be supplied to all BMW dealers under the automatic tool shipment program.

Additional copies can be ordered (Publication # SD 89-030) at the special introductory price of $20.00 each.

The AEGS transmission system is predictable and highly efficient when supplied correct input information.

Our AEGS troubleshooting techniques can also be predictable and highly efficient when conducted by an informed BMW technician using proven systematic procedures.
