Oil Pump Chain Tensioner

MODEL:
All with M50 Engine

Situation:
To reduce the running noise level of the oil pump drive chain, all M50 engines produced after 4/91 no longer have the oil pump chain tensioner, part number 11 41 1 719 955, installed. If repairs become necessary where the oil pump or the pump drive chain must be removed, the chain tensioner should also be removed and discarded.

Information:
The oil pump chain tensioner, part number 11 41 1 719 955, is no longer available from the Parts Department. Any dealer stock with the above part number should be returned to your facing PDC via AFA.
