A - Programming Check

^ Remove TEST transceiver and reinstall original transceiver.

^ Obtain a completed copy of the programming sheet that was used when the phone was originally programmed. Confirm that the ESN on the programming sheet matches the ESN on the transceiver.

^ Compare this information to what is programmed into the phone as follows:

1) Turn the phone ON.

2) Enter the 3-digit lock code [], [], [] (item 03C on the programming sheet).

3) Press FUNC.

4) Press #.

5) Press 1.


The display will now read 01C (followed by 3 digits). This indicates that you are now in the programming mode at item number 01C.

Item by item, verify that the information on the programming sheet matches what is programmed into the phone.

If an item is correct, press # to proceed to the next item.

If an item is incorrect, enter the correct information then STO to reprogram that particular item.

NOTE: Items 6 - 9 are pre-programmed to 1.

After all 11 items are checked, press FUNC, SND, DUNC, CLR.

1) If any item was changed, check to see if phone now operates properly.

2) If the phone does not function properly, proceed to the Registration Check.
