Procedure "B"

- Install two brackets (P/N 18 21 1 175 787) on the header pipes as shown in Illustration # 7.


- Join the brackets using the following fasteners:

M8 x 55 Bolt 07 11 9 912 524
M8 Wave washer 07 11 9 932 095
M8 Locking nut 07 12 9 946 400

- Allow the bracket to "move" while tightening to provide clamping force without stress.

- Verify that there is no contact with the front stabilizer bar or mounting.





- Bend the right side thrust rod heat shield to clear lower bracket (illustration # 8).
