SUBJECT: Inoperative A/C Compressor

MODELS: All M-Series



Situation: The A/C compressor may not engage due to a poor connection at the 108~C Coolant Temperature switch.

The connectors may appear to be properly connected; however, they may only be attached between the connector and rubber boot as shown.
Note: Due to the normal rise in coolant temperature after shutting the engine OFF, the compressor may not engage after restarting the vehicle. This will only last for a short period until the temperature of the coolant drops.
