Rear Brakes

Removal and Installation
- Remove rear wheels.

Exploded View:

- Unscrew bolts (1).
- Pull off caliper from behind and suspend with a wire.
- Brake line remains connected.



- Unscrew bolt (arrow) and take off brake disc.

Important: Always replace both brake discs of one axle, even if only one needs to be replaced.

- Reverse procedure to install.
- Adjust the parking brake.

Breaking-In Parking Brake After Replacing Brake Discs:
- Car must be broken in in three phases:

Phase 1: 5 x full stop braking action from 50 km/h (30 mph).
Phase 2: Brakes allowed to cool off.
Phase 3: 5 x full stop braking action from 50 km/h (30 mph).
