Condition
The trunk cannot be unlocked using the button on the remotes, button in the driver's door panel, or the handle on the trunk lid itself.

Technical Background





Vehicles have a VALET button in the glove box to activate the "valet parking" feature, preventing unauthorized access to the trunk. When activated the trunk can only be opened using the mechanical key.

Not applicable.

Service
Check whether the VALET button in the glove box has been activated and deactivate it if necessary.
