Condition
^ DTC P164D00 (Oil pressure switch for reduced oil pressure malfunction) is stored in the engine control module, J623 (01).
^ Red oil pressure warning light may be on.
Technical Background
An oil filter that is too short is installed. The oil filter must be 155 mm.
Production Solution
Improved oil filter.
Service
1. Check the length of the oil filter. It must be 155 mm long.
2. If the oil filter is faulty, too short, or too long, please contact Technical Assistance Center.
