If welding or cutting with spark-producing devices/tools or when plating in foamed areas where hazardous gases are produced that are harmful to humans and the environment, these procedures are to be omitted in each case.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Gas-shielded welder 250A (VAS 6045A)

• Straight sander (VAS 5170)

Separating areas

- Remove the original joint using the straight sander (VAS 5170).





Replacement part

• Bumper mount

Welding in

- Secure the new part to the alignment bracket set (VAS 6215) and extension (6215/1).

- Position parts and secure.

- Weld the bumper plate with a SG continuous seam using the gas-shielded welder 250A (VAS 6045A).
