Intake Flap Motor and Intake Manifold Runner Position Sensor

For the installation location of the intake flap motor (V157). Refer to => [ Intake Manifold Assembly Overview ] Intake Manifold Assembly Overview.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Commercial 1 / 4 ratchet

• Torx 30

Removing

- Remove engine cover.

- Disconnect vacuum lines - arrows -.





- Remove bracket - arrow - for the harness.





- Disconnect connectors attached to the wiring harness and move the cable harness to the side as needed.

- Remove bracket for cable connector - arrows - from coolant pipe.





• Open the nut with the left - arrow - just enough so that the bracket can moved to the side.

- Carefully pry off linkage from Intake Flap Motor (V157) - 4 -.





- Remove Intake Flap Motor (V157) - 5 -.

• The illustration shows the intake manifold removed.

Installing

- Installation is in reverse order.

• Tightening Specifications. Refer to => [ Intake Manifold Assembly Overview ] Intake Manifold Assembly Overview.
