Brake Lamp Switch, TT RS

Removing

• The brake light switch is installed on the brake master cylinder.

• The brake light switch is not adjusted.

- Remove the engine cover - 1 -.






- Remove bolts - arrows - and remove the air guide.






- Remove the bolts - arrows - and remove the air filter housing.






- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.






- Remove brake light switch retaining bolt - 2 - from brake master cylinder.

- Remove brake light switch down from brake master cylinder and remove switch upward from retaining tab.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal. Make sure that top of switch is seated correctly in retaining tab when doing so.

• The brake light switch is not adjusted.

- Install the air filter housing and tighten the bolts - arrows -.






- Install the air guide and tighten the bolts - arrows -.






- Install the engine cover.
