Noise Amplifier, TFSI

• The noise amplifier is inside the engine compartment in front of the brake booster.

Removing

- Unclip the air guide for the air filter housing.

- Remove air duct from air filter housing.

- Remove engine cover upward in - direction of arrow -.






- Remove the upper air guide from the noise amplifier.

- Remove the noise amplifier off the 3 rubber buffers on the bracket.

- Remove the lower air guide from the noise amplifier.

- Remove the noise amplifier from the vehicle.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

• Connect the lower air hose before installing the noise amplifier.

• Do not bend the air hose to the amplifier after installing.

• Make sure the noise amplifier is clipped in all three rubber buffers.
