Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1






Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1

Removing

- Remove the engine cover - arrows -.






- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Remove the wiring harness bracket - 2 -.

- Remove the bolt - 3 -.

Danger of damaging the wire.

Do not pull out camshaft adjustment valve 1 (N205) at connector.

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and camshaft adjustment valve 1 from the drive chain housing.






Installing

For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Cylinder Head Cover and Cylinder Head Overview ] Cylinder Head Cover and Cylinder Head Overview.

Replace the seal.

Clean the camshaft adjustment valve 1 and the drive chain housing.

Protect the camshaft adjustment valve 1 from shocks and impact stress.

Remove the new camshaft adjustment valve 1 from its packaging just before installing it.

- Coal the sealing ring with engine oil.

- Carefully install the camshaft adjustment valve 1 into the drive chain housing and push it all the way by hand horizontally to the valve axle.

The rest of the installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:

- Install the coolant ventilation line. Refer to => [ Coolant Pipes Overview ] Coolant Pipes Overview.
