Relay and Fuse Panel In Engine Compartment E-box

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing






- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (ND) wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove engine compartment E-box cover by sliding latch in - direction of arrow -.

- Remove relay - A - and control modules - B - from relay carrier.






- Remove Suppressor (C24) - item C - from relay and fuse panel and disconnect electrical connector.

- Release retaining clips - A arrows - and press fuse panel - 1 and 2 - and relay carrier - 4 - back out of relay and fuse panel.






- Release retaining clip - arrow B - and tip relay and fuse panel - 3 - up - arrow C - out of engine compartment E-box.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Connect battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
