Left Hood Lock Control Cable

Removing






- Remove the left lid lock. Refer to => [ Left and Right Hood Lock ] Left and Right Hood Lock.

- Remove the engine compartment E-box cover by pushing both bars in the - direction of the arrow -.

- Push foam grommet - 7 - on control cable mount - 6 - to the side.






- Cut through the cable tie - arrow -.

- Release the retaining clips and open the cover.

- Remove control cable bracket - 3 - from control cable mount - 1 -.

- Detach the control cable fitting for the left lid lock from connecting piece - 2 -.

• Ignore - 4 and 5 -.

- Disconnect the cable ties and remove the lid lock control cable.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• When installing, position cable ties in same place.

- Install the left lid lock. Refer to => [ Left and Right Hood Lock ] Left and Right Hood Lock.

- Install the engine compartment E-box cover.
