Gear Oil Level in Rear Final Drive 0BF and 0BE, Checking

Test requirement

• Gear oil temperature: 10 °C to 60 °C (50 °F to 140 °F)

• The rear final drive must be in its installed position.

• The vehicle must horizontal.

• Overview of the gear oil plugs, refer to => [ Gear Oil Plugs on the Rear Final Drive 0BF ] ATF and Gear Oil Drain and Inspection Plugs, Rear Final Drive 0BF and 0BE Overview and => [ Gear Oil Plugs on the Rear Final Drive 0BE ] ATF and Gear Oil Drain and Inspection Plugs, Rear Final Drive 0BF and 0BE Overview

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Catch tray

Rear Final Drive 0BF

- Remove the gear oil inspection plug - arrow - located on the right side of the final drive.






Rear Final Drive 0BE

- Remove the gear oil inspection plug - 1 -.






Continuation for All Rear Final Drives

• The fluid level is correct when the rear final drive is filled up the lower edge of the fluid fill hole.

- Fill the gear oil if necessary.
