Multifunction Buttons through MY 2011

- Turn off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove driver's airbag.

- Disconnect trim ring from steering wheel.

- Disconnect and remove the connector - 1 - from the button - 2 -.






- Slide button - 2 - out of the steering wheel in direction of - arrow -.

- Turn the button around.

- Release and disconnect the connector - 2 - for the tiptronic switch from the multifunction button - 1 - and then remove it.






Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.

Removal and installation of left multifunction button is identical.
