Bulb Socket

Observe the notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing






- Remove the outer tail lamp. Refer to => [ Outer Tail Lamp ] Outer Tail Lamp.

• If it is not possible to turn the bulb socket in the right tail lamp, remove the connector - 2 - from the bracket.

- Turn the bulb socket - 1 - counterclockwise - arrow - and remove it from the tail lamp.

- Remove the bulb from the bulb socket.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Insert the new bulb into the socket without touching the bulb with bare hands.

- Turn the bulb socket clockwise to secure it.

- Install the outer tail lamp. Refer to => [ Outer Tail Lamp ] Outer Tail Lamp.
