Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192) Overview
The electrical vacuum pump is switched on by the engine control module depending on the intake line pressure.
• It is necessary to remove the left front wheel housing liner in order to remove the vacuum pump.
• View brake system vacuum pump from underneath after removing the left front wheel housing liner.
1 Bracket
• To remove, remove the brake system vacuum pump.
• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192) Bracket, RS 5 ] Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192) Bracket, RS 5.
2 Bracket Bolt
• 20 Nm
3 Electrical Connector
4 Brake System Vacuum Pump
• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192), RS 5 ] Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192), RS 5.
• Checking, refer to => [ Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192), Checking, RS 5 ] Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192), Checking, RS 5.
• It is necessary to remove the left front wheel housing liner in order to remove the vacuum pump.
• View brake system vacuum pump inside the engine compartment, in the front on the left side.

• 20 Nm
2 Brake System Vacuum Pump
• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192), RS 5 ] Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192), RS 5.
• Checking, refer to => [ Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192), Checking, RS 5 ] Brake System Vacuum Pump (V192), Checking, RS 5.
• It is necessary to remove the left front wheel housing liner in order to remove the vacuum pump.
3 Check Valve
• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Check Valve, RS 5 ] Check Valve, RS 5.
• Checking, refer to => [ Check Valve, Checking, RS 5 ] Check Valve, Checking, RS 5.
4 Nut
• Secondary pump hose bracket.
• 20 Nm
5 Bracket Bolt
• 20 Nm
