Brake Caliper, Servicing, 1LA/1LJ
• Install complete repair kit when servicing.
• Apply thin coat of assembly paste (G 052 150 A2) to brake cylinders, pistons and seals.
1 - Bolt
• 30 Nm
2 - Cap
• Insert in brake caliper.
• Replacing, refer to => [ Protective Cap and Guide Pin, 1LA/1LJ ] Protective Cap and Guide Pin, 1LA/1LJ.
3 - Guide Pins
• Slide through the boot.
• Replacing, refer to => [ Protective Cap and Guide Pin, 1LA/1LJ ] Protective Cap and Guide Pin, 1LA/1LJ.
4 - Cap
• Install on the bleeder valve.
5 - Bleeder Valve
• Apply a thin coat of assembly paste (G 052 150 A2) to the threads before installing.
• 15 Nm
6 - Brake Caliper Housing
7 - Spring
• Ensure installation position is correct.
8 - Cap
• Do not damage when installing piston.
• Coat with Assembly Paste (G 052 150 A2).
9 - Pistons
• First apply thin coat of brake cylinder paste (G 052 150 A2) on piston.
• Diameter 57 mm.
10 - Seal
• Coat with assembly paste (G 052 150 A2).
11 - Brake Carrier
• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Front Brake Caliper with Brake Carrier ] Front Brake Caliper With Brake Carrier.
• The 4 retaining pins for the brake pads on the brake carrier must not be loosened under any circumstances.
12 - Bolt
• 196 Nm
