Rear Seat Backrest Release Lever

• Removal and installation are same for right and left.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing






- Pull the lever - 1 - and unlock the rear seat backrest.

- Hold the level pulled and remove the expanding rivet - 3 - with a screwdriver.

- Pry out the release lever - 2 - using the (3409) - arrow - and remove it.

- Unclip the release cable - 2 - from the rear seat backrest release lever - 1 -.






- Disengage the cable ball stud - 3 - and remove the release lever.

Installing

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order.
