Lock Cylinder

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pry Lever (80 - 200)

Removing






- Carefully pry off the clips using the (80 - 200) and disengage the door seal near the protective film.

- Press the door seal to the side and remove the protective film over the hole - arrow A -.

- Remove the locking bolt - 4 - as far as the stop using a screwdriver - 1 -.

- Press the lock cylinder retaining bracket - 3 - inward.

- Remove the lock cylinder - 2 - from the mounting bracket - arrow B -.

• If the lock cylinder cannot be pressed out, slide the key into it and remove it with the key turned slightly.

Installation

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Door Handle, Mounting Bracket and Door Lock Overview ] Door Handle, Mounting Bracket and Door Lock Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Slide the lock cylinder into the mounting bracket and then check if the door lock closing and opening position is activated.

- Attach the door seal to the door shell near the protective film and install the clips so that the audibly engage.
