Driver Side Instrument Panel Cover with Knee Airbag

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Removing






- Remove the side cover on the driver side instrument panel. Refer to => [ Instrument Panel Side Cover ] Instrument Panel Side Cover.

- Remove the side bolt - 1 -.

- Remove the lower bolts - 3 - and - 4 -.

- Unclip the top edge of the driver side instrument panel cover - 2 - from the instrument panel - arrows - using a (3409).

- Unclip the 16-pin connector (T16) (Data Link Connector).

- If the vehicle has footwell lamps: disconnect the connector

- Disconnect the driver side instrument panel cover.

Installing






Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the lower instrument panel cover - 1 - into the clips - 3 - on the footrest and into the clips - 2 - on the A/C unit - arrows -.
