Impact Member Mount without Trailer Hitch

Removing

- Remove the rear bumper cover. Refer to => [ Rear Bumper Cover ] Rear Bumper Cover.

- Remove the side impact bar. Refer to => [ Impact Member without Trailer Hitch ] Impact Member without Trailer Hitch.

- Remove the tie-downs..

- Loosen the left and right luggage compartment side trim in the rear area..

- Remove the bolts - arrows - and the impact bar mount - 1 -.






Installation

• Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Impact Member Overview ] Impact Member Overview.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install the left and right luggage compartment side trim..

- Install the tie-downs..

- Install the impact member. Refer to => [ Impact Member without Trailer Hitch ] Impact Member without Trailer Hitch.

- Install the rear bumper cover. Refer to => [ Rear Bumper Cover ] Rear Bumper Cover.
