Lane Change Assistance Warning Lamps (K233)/(K234)
Removing
- Remove the mirror adjuster..
• To protect the paint in the area around the mirror housing, tape it off with a soft cloth.
- Remove the screws - 4 and 5 -.
- Open the clips - 2 - and remove the exterior mirror housing - 3 - from the cover - 1 - - arrows -.
- Remove the exterior mirror housing - 1 - far enough until the connector is visible.
- Disconnect the connector - 2 - on the front of the mirror adjustment unit bracket - 3 -.
- Pull the exterior mirror housing - 2 - upward and disconnect the connector - 3 -.
• Ignore - 1, 4 and 5 - and the - arrow -.
- Release the retaining tabs - A arrows - and press the lane change assist warning lamp - 1 - out of the exterior rearview mirror housing - 2 - - arrow B -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
• If an Light Emitting Diode (LED) is faulty, the entire lane change assistance warning lamp in the exterior rearview mirror must be replaced.
