Cellular Telephone Amplifier (R86)

The cellular telephone amplifier is located behind the luggage compartment right side trim.

- Turn off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Open right luggage compartment storage bin.

To remove, the comfort system central control module (J393) must be removed first with the bracket - 1 -.






- Remove the nuts - 1, 2, 6 and 7 - from the bracket and then move the bracket - 1 - to the side toward the luggage compartment.

The cellular telephone amplifier is clipped into a bracket.

- Unlock and disconnect the connectors - 1 and 2 - from the cellular telephone amplifier - 3 -.






- Press the retaining tabs - arrows - inward and remove the cellular telephone amplifier - 2 -.

Installing

- Install in reverse order of removal.
