GPS Antenna (R50)

The GPS antenna is installed in the convertible top compartment cover.

- Turn off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the convertible top compartment cover trim.

- Remove the service flap.

- Unlock and disconnect the connector from the GPS antenna through the access cover.

The GPS antenna is secured on the bracket with double-sided adhesive tape.

- Remove the bolts - 1, 3 and 4 - on the bracket - 2 -.






- Swivel the bracket - 2 - upward.

- Disconnect the GPS antenna - 1 - from the bracket - 2 - using a small screwdriver.






- Clean the adhesive area on the bracket - 2 -.

Installing

- Remove the protective film from the adhesive tape on the GPS antenna.

- Press the GPS antenna - 2 - onto the adhesive area on the bracket - 1 -.






- Install in reverse order of removal.
