Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

For the correct tightening specifications, refer to => [ Oxygen Sensors Overview ] Oxygen Sensors Overview.

Coat new oxygen sensors with an assembly paste.

On a used oxygen sensor, only the thread may be coated with hot bolt paste; Hot Bolt Paste, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA)

Assembly paste or hot bolt paste must not get into the slits on the oxygen sensor body.

Wiring connection of oxygen sensor must always be secured in the same position when installing so that contact with the exhaust pipe is avoided.

The hose connections as well as the air guide pipes and hoses must be free of oil and grease before installing.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps of the same type as those equipped by the factory. Refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

To mount the air guide hoses on their connectors securely, spray the bolts on the used clamps with rust remover before installing.
