Backrest Release Cable and Housing

Removing






- Remove cover and padding from backrest. Refer to => [ Backrest Cover and Upholstery ] Backrest Cover and Upholstery.

- Remove the bolt - 1 -.

- Disengage cover - 2 - at backrest release housing and remove it.

- Pry control cable - 3 - out of control cable bracket - 2 -.






- Then disengage cable - 3 - at anchor plate - 1 -.

- Remove screws - 1 - and - 3 -.






- Disengage housing - 2 - on backrest frame - arrow - and remove it upward.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Adjust backrest release cable. Refer to => [ Backrest Release Cable, Adjusting ] Backrest Release Cable, Adjusting.
