Rear Door Trim, Sun Shade

Sun Shade

Removing






- Turn off the ignition and remove the key.

- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to => [ Door Trim Panel ] Door Trim Panel.

- Remove insulation in upper area from door trim.

- Carefully release guide strip - 2 - at left and right with a small screwdriver.

- Pull the sun shade - 1 - slightly out of the door trim panel and remove the guide strip from the door trim panel.

• Ignore - arrow -.

- Remove screws - 1 to 5 - and - 7 to 9 -.






- Remove sun shade - 6 - by lightly tipping outward - arrow - out of door trim.

Installing






Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

• Sun shade guide pin - 2 - must engage in door trim mounting groove - 1 - - arrow -.

- The guide strip - 2 - can only be inserted in one position in door trim.






• Identifying feature: the bulge - arrow - must face the window side.

- Pull sun shade - 1 - out of door trim slightly and insert guide strip in door trim as shown in illustration.
