Rear Body Acceleration Sensor (G343)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1783)

Removing

- Remove the luggage compartment floor covering and the compressor on the left side.

- On vehicles with 3 rows of seats, remove 3rd row.

- Disconnect connector - 3 -.






- Remove bolt - 1 - and rear body acceleration sensor - 2 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install body acceleration sensor bolt - 1 - and tighten to 8 Nm.

- On vehicles with 3 rows of seats, install 3rd row.

- Check the body acceleration signal. Refer to => [ Body Acceleration Sensor, Checking Acceleration Signal ] Component Tests and General Diagnostics.
