Driver Side Floor Panel Main Fuse Panel
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Pry Lever (80 - 200)
Removing
• When installing, reinstall all cable ties that were loosened or cut during removal in the same locations.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Remove screw - 2 - and pull floor vent - 1 - up.
- Remove the cover on the rear seat rail.
- Release retaining clamps on back side of cover - 1 - in - direction of arrow A -.
• The seat is not shown in the illustration.
- Then remove cover in - direction of arrow B - from driver's seat console.
- Pry cover - 1 - with (80 - 200) from floor covering.
- Raise floor covering - 2 - slightly in ground wire area.
- Remove nut - 3 - and remove ground wire - 4 - on ground point.
- Pry cover - 3 - with (80 - 200) from floor covering.
- Remove both front screws - 1 - on driver's seat console and tip console - 2 - up.
- Free up the wiring harness for the driver seat.
- Move the backrest and the seat surface forward with the driver seat folded.
- Pry out wire clip - 2 -.
• For easier removal of wire clip, use silicon-free lubricating spray.
- Release retaining clip - arrow A - and remove main fuse panel cover - 1 - - arrow B -.
- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 - on Battery Interrupt Igniter (N253).
- Remove nuts - 2, 3, 6 -
- Identify allocation of electrical wires - 7 to 11 - and remove nuts.
- Remove electrical wires.
- Remove relay and disengage relay carrier - 5 -.
- Cut cable ties - arrows - and free up electrical wiring.
- Pry out wire clip - 4 -.
• For easier removal of wire clip, use silicon-free lubricating spray.
- Remove nuts - arrows -.
- Free up wiring harness - 2 - and remove main fuse panel - 1 - under driver's seat.
• The exact routing of the main fuse panel in driver side of the vehicle floor can be found in the applicable wiring diagram.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
• When installing, install cable ties at same location.
- Install the bracket for the driver seat.
- Connect battery. Refer to => [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
Tightening Specifications
