Rearview Camera System

Rearview Camera System Control Module (J772)

The rearview camera system control module is located behind the luggage compartment right side trim.

- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine.

Use the Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051) to do so.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

- Remove the right luggage compartment trim panel.

- Remove nuts - 1 - and - 5 - (4 Nm).





- Disconnect the connectors - 3 - and - 4 - from the rearview camera system control module.

- Remove rearview camera system control module - 2 -.

Removing Retaining Bracket

Two retaining brackets are bolted to the rearview camera system control module.

- Remove the bolts - 5 - (2 Nm) and remove retaining bracket - 1 -.





- Remove the bolts - 4 - (2 Nm) and remove retaining bracket - 3 -.

Installing

- Install retaining brackets first.

- Installation of the Rearview Camera System Control Module is the reverse of removal.

- Perform calibration. Refer to => [ Rearview Camera System, Calibrating ] Testing and Inspection.
