Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

Test Conditions

• The battery is in battery support mode.

• Fuel pump fuse(s) OK.

• Fuel Pump (FP) relay (J17) OK.

• FP control module (J538) OK; check in Guided Fault Finding vehicle diagnostic tester.

• Fuel tank at least 1/4 filled.

• Fuel filter OK (not dirty)

• Fuel lines OK (not plugged, not kinked).

• Ignition switched off.
