Front Door Lamps and Switches

Rear Lid Remote Release Button (E233) and Fuel Filler Door Release Button (E319)

Removing

• Depending on construction type, only the rear lid remote release button may be installed.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove front door trim..

- Detach insulating mat from door trim.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 2 - on rear lid remote release button and fuel filler door release button - item 1 -.






- Carefully release catches - A arrows - using a small screwdriver.

- Press rear lid remote release button and fuel filler door release button down out of switch mount - arrow B -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Press switch into switch mount until fasteners engage.

- Install front door trim.
