Mounting Piece

Removing

Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and General Information ] Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and General Information.

- Remove the 2nd row bench seat. Refer to => [ 2nd Row, 3-Seater Assembly Overview ] 2nd Row, 3-Seater Assembly Overview.

- Remove rear floor covering - 3 -. Refer to => [ Floor Covering Overview ] Floor Covering Overview.






- Remove the bolts - 1 -.

- Remove mounting piece - 2 -.

Installation

Follow all safety precautions when working on pyrotechnic components. Refer to => [ Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and General Information ] Restraint System Components, Safety Precautions and General Information.

• The screws are microencapsulated and must be replaced after each loosening.

• Before installing the new bolts, the threads of the corresponding nuts must be cleaned.

Install in reverse order of removal.
