Roof Rail






1 Roof Rail

Lower the headliner..

2 Seal

Self-adhesive.

Belongs to roof rail delivery casing.

3 Combination Screw

Screws must be replaced after each removal.

Follow installation sequence.

- Tighten the screws in sequence a, b, c, d, e.

Tighten to 15 Nm.

4 Threaded Bushing

No replacement part.

5 Adjusting Element

Self-adjusting.

Must be installed completely before installing roof rail.

Installing Roof Rail






1 Hex Head Bolt

Screws must be replaced after removal.

Follow installation sequence.

15 Nm

2 Screw Seal

No replacement part.

3 Roof Rail

- Position rail with centering pins on roof.

Press roof rail firmly with hand onto over adjusting element - 6 - when tightening screws.

- Note installation sequence and tighten to 15 Nm in sequence - a -,- b -,- c -,- d - and - e -.

4 Adjusting Element

Insert front adjusting element into hole provided and slide forward into installation position.

5 Centering Pin

Adjusting Element Functionality






When installing, roof rail - 1 - is brought into and held in straight position.

Adjusting element - 3 - inserted into roof rail as shown.

When installing screw - 4 - in nut - 2 -, adjusting element - 6 - (left threads) is unscrewed outward as far as stop through plastic element - 5 - (slide coupling).

By continuing to install screw, roof rail is tightened to 15 Nm.
