Wheel Housing Trim, Detaching From C-Pillar (Not Removing)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

Detaching the wheel housing trim from the C-pillar, not removing

- Fold the second row backrest forward.

- Pull wheel housing trim - 1 - out of mounts in body with (3409).






If clamps - 2 - remain in body mounting points, remove these and insert them in trim.

Check clamps for damage or deformation, replace if necessary.

Note installation location of supporting piece - 3 -, it must be in front area under sill panel strip - 4 -.

Attaching the wheel housing trim to the C-pillar






- Insert the wheel housing trim with mounts - 1 - in luggage compartment side trim - 2 -.

- Clip the wheel housing trim with clamps - 3 - to the C-pillar while inserting the tab - arrow A - in the recess - arrow B - of the C-pillar trim.

- Draw door seal lip - 4 - over wheel housing liner.
