Front Door Window, Adjusting
Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
• Socket (T10058)
• Use to adjust the height
• Side Window Installation Tool (V.A.G 1739)
• Use to adjust laterally.
• Gauge (T10391)
Lateral Adjustment
• Adjustment dimensions, refer to => [ Front Door Window Gap Dimensions ] Front Door Window Gap Dimensions.
1 Door window
• The front window regulator is bolted to the A-pillar and cannot be adjusted.
• Adjusting the top of the B-pillar:
- Remove door trim.
- To adjust, loosen the locking nut - 3 - and rotate the adjusting pins - 4 - using a Torx(R) socket wrench.
• Turn left - the door window rotates outward.
• Turn right - the door window rotates inward.
- Tighten the locking nut - 3 - after adjusting.
• Adjusting the bottom of the B-pillar:
• It is not necessary to remove the door trim panel.
- To adjust, loosen the locking nut - 2 - and rotate the adjusting pins - 1 - using a Torx(R) socket wrench.
• Turn left - the door window rotates inward
• Turn right - the door window rotates outward
• Tighten the locking nut after adjusting.

Adjusting the height
• Adjustment dimensions, refer to => [ Front Door Window Gap Dimensions ] Front Door Window Gap Dimensions.
1 Adjusting screw
• 1 turn corresponds to approximately 1 mm.
• For adjusting the upper edge of the door window on the seal in the front or rear roof area
• Accessible through the holes on the bottom edge of the door. The door trim does not need to be removed.
- Turn the adjusting screw 5 mm using a long hex socket wrench to adjust the height.
