Outside Air Temperature Sensor (G17)

Removal






- Remove the lock carrier cover.

- Squeeze the clips carefully - arrow - and remove the Outside air temperature sensor - 2 - upward.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.

Installation

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install the lock carrier cover.

After completing the repair, perform the following on the Front A/C display control head (E87) using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in "Guided Fault Finding":

- Read the DTC memory and erase any entries.
